An Existential Threat to America and the World.

Donald J. Trump—all and all—is a rough and tough aversary. A stuanch opponent and a street fighter who does not give up. Trump is in a fight for his life, as he takes jabs at any and everyone in his way to returning to the White House and staying out of jail.

The Trump conundrum is a complicated story. I don’t even know why I am writing it or where to start as the disgraced ex-president’s story is one which is constantly evolving. He is the only U.S. president to have been impeached twice. The first time was for his unfair dealing with Ukraine, however the Senate in 2020 vote to acquit Trump of any wrong doing. President Trump, infused himself and the United States into the Russia vs Ukraine conflict by abusing his power when he withheld aid for the Kyiv government and Volodymyr Zelenskyy, President of Ukraine to support the autocratic President of Russia, Vladimr Putin—his friend and ally.

Trump’s personal and biased affection for the authoritarian leader of Russia, (Vladimir Putin) was quite alarming even for members of his own senior advisor’s team. The second incident was for “inciting an insurrection” at the U.S. Capital on January 6, where many were physically and psychologically injured. Approximately ten (10) people were killed during the Capital Riot amid the violence (with 140+ police officers injured) — while Trump watched.

The disgraced president was and still represents as of this article: Sept. 23, 2023, that the election was stolen from him and his voters. It stimulated an all out push by his loyal “Trumpians — the MAGA’s,” to take their F—ing country back from the liberals who they feel is ruining America, and its’ long historical values of “White Male Rule” in the ground. Donald J. Trump also had multiple indictments leveled against him—four (4):

  • Conspiracy to defraud the United States Government by trying to overturn the 2021 election of Joe Biden,
  • Conspiracy to block an official proceeding by attempting to shut down the electoral certification on January 6, 2021,
  • Conspiracy of the peoples’ rights, through attempting to usurp and overturn the voters rights to a free election and their decision in 2020 to cast their vote for Joseph Biden as president of the United States of America. A charge embedded in a 19th – century post-civil war law.
  • Obstruction of and the attempt to obstruct an official proceeding. (ref. pbs.org: Where the criminal case of Trump stands.)

The former president has also collected a whopping ninety-one [91] criminal charges against him by way of his four indictments which is the coalescence of 44 federal charges and 47 state charges—all being felonies. However, in the face of these serious and injurious allegations, Trump remains defiant, fighting every charge vehemently, and vowing to fight to the end. He has denied any wrongdoing in every single case brought against him. Dismissing the charges as “A POLITICAL WITCH HUNT.”

The strongman — Donald Trump — contender for the republican party’s nomination for president is leading by double digits and has surpassed president Joe Biden by 10 points, even in the midst of his indictments for racketeering and other charges.

It appears that you can never get to the end of the bottomless pit of scandals in everything from Trump’s personal businesses, sexual harassment claims, and misogyny to racism, homophobia, and political corruption. Albeit he is innocent until found guilty. By all accounts, the “Teflon Donald” seems to have larceny built into his DNA, as he goes from one negative scandal to the other, with each escalating in proportion to the previous one.

One benefit from Donald’s devious, and quite “morally bent” escapades is the fact that political scientists, and historians will have a job for a lifetime as they try to interrupt/unravel the ex-president’s political, social, and personal motivations as he attempted to work on behalf of the American people.

The President (Trump) manipulated his staunch “Trumpian” supporters, the citizens of the United States of America, friends, and family. He had an opportunity to be a great president, but he let his ego and corrupt disposition, as well as his Machiavellian behavioral traits get in the way.

The former president could not see beyond his own personal interest. Very similar to previous leaders of the past, such as: Adolf Hitler, Germany; Benito Mussolini, Italy; Joseph Stalin, Soviet Union; The Kim Dynasty, North Korea, and Mao Zedong, and The People’s Republic of China. All of which focused on the creation of a totalitarian, and an autocratic system of government based on a centralized and dictatorial style of leadership. Just as the former President Trump, who required all staff to be completely loyal and subservient to him without question.

In other words, Trump demanded an unparalleled voice in all matters, and unfettered controlled over all decisions. As the autocratic leaders of the past, President Trump consistently employed all-encompassing demagogic propaganda to his MAGA supporters, rallying them in a racist frenzy toward taking back America, and thereby “allegedly” to making America great again. His racially slanted rhetoric was and is an auspiciously designed and a well-orchestrated mechanism to control the citizenry of America—which is pure hyperbolic talk that can be extremely dangerous, especially coming from Trump.

Unfortunately, the America I remember from the past was anything but great [with its’ slavery institutions]. The people of Africa was stolen from their home and striped of everything: their culture, language, children, family structure, and placed in a very low social status—that of being non-human. The white women’s suffrage campaign is another negative strike in history against America, where women were not allowed to vote and sought to change the laws to allow equal voting rights and the right of inheritance among many other rights afforded to white males only.

Finally, there’s the “Civil Rights Movement” of 1960 that decried the “human rights abuses of the highly remarkable and publicized protest, demonstrations, civil rights marches, and the extreme brutality and racial violence” by the “predominantly white” ruling class that caused America’s political leadership to enforce the personal rights guarantee of protection outlined in the U.S. Constitution. It was made clear in the Constitution that there would be [no] discrimination in areas such as the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and that of the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990.

These laws were already guaranteed after the Civil War. They are supposed to provide protection from unlawful discrimination of those natural rights of life, liberty, and property which is explicitly protected in the “Bill of Rights.” Yet the abuses continue to date—cloaked under the intentional cryptic laws of America’s ruling class to maintain dominance over Black people (descendants of slaves), women, and others that are viewed as subservient to America’s white male dynasty.

The collection of negative incidences is to name a few of the unlawful practices under the historical and current “Make America Great Again” slogan by the infamous Donald J. Trump and his MAGA extreme right-wing political party.

The historical events mentioned above are not unrealistic or exaggerations, but actual events implemented by white males liken to the now Trump and his MAGA followers. Individuals bent on rolling back the laws and gains of African Americans, women, and ethnic minorities today. Of late, affirmative action, diversity, equity, and Inclusion (DEI), and abortion rights. Unbelievable, but people are still marginalized and struggling to get ahead in this country—and not only in America but the world over.

I like many of the American citizens wholeheartedly believe in the possibilities of the American dream of non-discriminatory opportunities. However, the idea of Trump becoming the president of the United States in 2024, is highly revolting as well as problematic. I am not a pessimist by any stretch of the imagination, just a reluctant follower of assholes that believe that they are God’s gift to life: a person or group who place their values above all others.

To not only highlight the Donald’s progressive stances against Blacks, LGBTQ, Immigrants, and others. It is Trump’s overall focus on destroying every positive initiative put in place by a series of politicians to help ameliorate some of the most egregious and dangerous problems plaguing this country and the world. Things like today’s climate crisis, diversity, poverty, racism, bigotry, child hunger, and diplomacy among foreign nations, During Trump’s tenure in the oval office he obliterated traditional diplomatic alliance building—for a more personal transactional relationship among U.S. allies.

Diplomacy was all but a lost art under Trump’s leadership. He operated in this highly important area of government in the same way he runs his many businesses — in the ground. They are easily formed, and just as easily torn down, and thereby covered up through a series of mendacious stories, and truculent infighting with his own caucus and that of his adversaries—the democrats, and anyone who disagrees with his edict.

Trump has absolutely no natural affection for people, or fundamental principals of decency, humility, or humanity. A total narcissistic personality. The only thing that moves the needle for him, and those Trumpian followers is their own self-actualization, and the thought of putting blacks, women, and other ethnic minorities in their respective place. Moreover, matters which are not within Trump’s self-interest are deemed a non-existential threat, and deemed not worth pursuing.

How did America get itself in such a dilemma with respect to its politics. Especially at the white house level. One would think that the U.S. intelligence community would have vetted the then candidate Donald J. Trump better and before his successful run for the highest office in the land—President of the United States (in 2016). How was he even allowed to place his name on the ballot with his apparent scandals, and corrupt business deals? Initially, I thought his candidacy was a clever ruse, or an advertising stunt for another one of Trump’s business endeavors that would ultimately end up a colossal failure.

Having said that, and to my surprise as well as most of America, Donald Trump [won] the Presidency. Furthermore, to my astonishment, after the election of Donald J. Trump, the 45th President of the United States of America (from 2017 to 2021), he immediately went to work destroying the records and accomplishments of the former President Barack Obama. It became crystal clear that he did not like or appreciate the policies installed by his predecessor—President Obama.

The then President, Donald J. Trump rolled back as many of Obama’s accomplishments as possible in his [first year] in office through a series of Executive Actions and by working with Congress, and his Cabinet. Programs such as Obama Care: An initiative which supported public health of all Americans, and especially those unable to afford insurance essential to prevent serious illness.

The program’s mission was to make sure [no] American would be left without a health insurance plan. It was designed for families whose income was at or below the poverty level, so they too would be able to afford health insurance for themselves and their family members. Fortunately, Trump was only able to make five changes to Obama Care, as it is still popular in the U.S. among the people. Yet, Trump still remains firm in his conviction to change it if he is given a second term.

Other Obama-era policies reversed by Donald J. Trump was the “Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals.” A rule requiring large companies to report worker pay by race and gender in order to decrease the wage gap through transparency (Chicago Tribune).

Trump reversed an Obama order banning the transfer of surplus military equipment to police departments fearing it would be used on innocent citizens, and he (President Trump) out-lined a hardline policy on Cuba in direct opposition to Obama’s diplomatic efforts to foster a friendlier relationship with the communist government of President Raul Castro (The Washington Post).

Totally bent on making Obama disappear from the ranks of U.S. Presidents, Trump also severed relations with the “Paris Climate Treaty,” adopted by Obama in an executive order—an initiative to save the planet (New York Times). These where fair and honest programs to level the playing field for those at a disadvantage in America as well as to slow the climate crisis.

Trump’s role back of the Obama-era initiatives only led one to conclude that Trump was indeed a narcissist, racist, a bigot and totally jealous that a Black man was able to achieve so much in an all white rule establishment. And that his rethinking Obama’s strategies was his way of maintaining the status quo by upholding archaic institutional policies bent toward the upper echelon (white only males).

What was and is so befuddling to me is that in a book titled:Think Like a Champion written by Trump in “Miniature” in 2009, whereas he stated, “Barack will need to be a great president because we’re in serious trouble as a country. It hasn’t been this way since 1929. So he doesn’t have much choice—he will simply have to be great. Which he has a very good chance of being. What he has done is amazing.”

Trump further said, “The fact that he accomplished what he has—in one year and against great odds—is truly phenomenal. If someone had asked me if a black man or woman could be president, I would have said yes, but not yet. Barack Obama proved that determination combined with opportunity and intelligence can make things happen—and in an exceptional way. The world is excited about Barack Obama and the new United States. Let’s keep it that way.”

If this is really how Trump felt during the Obama administration, then why did it change so drastically? Is there someone behind the change in Trump’s philosophy and his political direction with respect to Barack Obama and his policies? Or is it that Trump assumed President Obama would ultimately crash from the pressure of the office? What I do know is that America was better off with Barack at the helm.

And now after four years of President Donald J. Trump, America had better change direction, as it is on a crash course toward self-destruction should he be elected in 2024. America needs new and a more younger political leadership configuration that is better in tune with the multicultural citizens of America and the need to be more globally responsible. For the most part, I feel we require younger citizens who are more apt to be fair and open to diversity and pointedly environmentally friendly.

We need individuals to move the United States beyond the walls of nationalism to the immediate globalization and refinement of issues like the climate crisis, ending poverty, hunger, and support for the aging population to providing healthcare for all, childcare and youth safety, human rights, peace and security, equity, and to create a discrimination free society.

We require a leader that will bring people together rather than the divisions under the Trump administration. We need someone who will work toward a more friendly and stable world. A world absent the self-interest and self-serving autocratic leadership style that is deteriorating America and the world on multiple levels. A leader who will guide the people with TRUTH

The President Donald J. Trump cheerfully signs a Bill reversing an Obama-era initiative to support all the people of America. Trump felt Obama and his policies were a “disaster”, and that President Barack Obama was “the most ignorant president in history.” Not true: he (the Donald) is as evident in his own record-breaking legal and ploitical troubles.

Politics makes for strange bedfellows. President Donald J. Trump and the autocratic leader of Russia, Vladimir Putin are in a class of their own. They are a pair made in Machiavellian heaven. Both dictators of the proletariat, who are oligarchic capitalist by nature who seizes the hard production efforts of its people for self by any means necessary.
