MADAM PRESIDENT KAMALA HARRIS

"We are in the Fight for our lives and the future of our Children." We will stop Donald J. Trump!

Story by: John P. Robeare | August 26, 2024

President Joe Biden’s selfless move to withdraw his run for a second term, handing the torch over to his trusted, experienced, and well liked Vice President Kamala Harris. Since, the democratic party has been awakened and rejuvenated with new energy—vigor to win. Kamala Harris candidacy for the office of the president [the highest position in America] has energized the American people both: female and male of all ethnicities, races, cultures and age groups toward defeating the former President Donald J. Trump and his “Maga” constituents.

Kamala plan is to stop the threat from the notorious “Project 25” agenda led by Kevin Roberts, a Trump ally that’s comprised of many of his loyalist (in his administration). The conservative promise to the people of United States of America is hateful and a destructive agenda that will reach all Americans. Their promise is to eliminate democracy and those freedoms enjoyed by everyone — even those who collectively espouse to the “Maga” extremist organization(s) and their radical policies. Kamala, she is fighting for all of the American people as opposed to the few loyalist to Trump and the negative “Project 25′ agenda created by extremist.

Project 25 is a dangerous mandate by the “Heritage Foundation, Trumpian and his allies who desire to govern the American people under some of the most oppressive policies ever established in this country. As Kamala Stated, “I can’t believe they put it in writing.” Just some of the egregious policies which will be instituted by Trump’s policies are of many that will adversely effect Black Americans at a time where there is already great suffering, It will eliminate the department of education leaving its construction to the authoritarians in power: the people who are calling for book banning and the elimination of history to be taught in schools.

They seek to abolish affirmative action, DEI, and have will institute nationwide abortion bans that threaten women, especially Black women, who are disproportionately dying from draconian and racist policies when it comes to abortion rights and standard healthcare. Trump, in his first term enacted a host of policies that are already most challenging for the poor and the working class towards gaining access to contraception insurance coverage by giving employers the option of opting out of birth control for its’ employees. It further will enhance nationwide discrimination and racial profiling within the criminal justice system, limit or exclude access to affordable healthcare services for African Americans, ethnic minorities and poor whites.

Project 25 creates an extraordinary division between the wealthiest Americans and that of the middle class and the poor. These are just a few examples of the outcomes of “Trump and his cronies plan for America. This election is about the most existential, consequential and is the most important election of our lifetime. It will lay a path of how we will live now into the future. [A free society or one governed by the elites, and autocrats.]  Kamala, she is fighting for all of the American people as opposed to the few loyalist of Trump and the negative “Project 25′ agenda created by extremist.

Thank you President Joe Biden for your selfless action by placing America first and elevating your trusted Vice President Kamala Harris to finish the job you so vialantly fought for to defeat Trump and his dangerious policies.

We encourage you to conduct further investigations on your own to ensure that the candidate you select mirror the values you and the American people believe can better fulfill your personal and community needs today and into the future.

THE ISSUES AT STAKE IN THIS ELECTION: November 5, 2024

The primary issues at stake in this election is what type of society do you want to live in? The candidates represents two distinct views. The one that is linked to “Trump and Fascism,” where the far-right authoritarian style of dictatorial leadership will rule the day. An example of fascism is when a leader uses heavy handed, extreme enforcement to move people in the direction they see as appropriate whether you like it or not. Or, “Socialism,” defined in this context as democracy pinned to Kamala’s style of leadership. A system which shares the world, i.e. human labor, land, the economy and the government by way of a democratic process that widens opportunities for all Americans in a fair and more culturally “blind” fashion.

This election will place the future of America on the line like never before in history. That is the culmination of all that we as a country have built in order to bring fairness, equity, equality, and stability to one of the greatest countries in the world. To get it wrong will be devasting to all who live here in America and those who inhabit the rest of the world.

The person we select to lead this country will have a monumental task. The task of uniting the world. Wars and famine, senseless killing are happening everywhere today with no one unaffected by its carnage in some way. Little children are killed at will, and those who are holding on by a thread in need of medical attention, cannot be treated because the hospitals that administer medical aid is no long available because they have been destroyed.

Mayhem and destruction from the chaos in Haiti to the wars in Sudan: the General vs the President, Russia vs Ukraine, and the Israel-Hamas war. All of which is causing an unfathomable amount of deaths of not only military operatives, but a wide-ranging of casualties of innocent law-abiding citizens. Combined between all the current military disruption, incursions, bombardments and wars previously mentioned (including the more than 100 armed conflicts around the world, America needs a diplomatic leaders who can bring people and waring factions together).

In all the aforementioned warring places the people are suffering from food insecurities and famine. Millions at the “Emergency” level and even more hitting “crisis” levels. …  Millions have been displaced from their homes and separated from family and friends. The physical damage to property is unthinkable. We must not be so short sighted and forget about America where a staggering number of people live below the poverty level (According to the U.S. Census Bureau, 37.9 million people live below the poverty rate. That’s 11.5 percent of the population.)

Inner-city violence in America is taking innocent lives everyday from gun violence, mass shootings, the illegal drug epidemic, and fentanyl. Coupled with the loss of life in America, outbreaks of racism, misogyny, the fear of Black men in public places (AKA: Negrophobia), antisemitism, homophobia, a massive decline in education to the threat of AI and Quantum Computing on our everyday lives, the multiple climate and environmental issues, mental health, abortion rights, Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI); and Affirmative Action is destroying this country.

The stakes are high and America needs everyone to come out and VOTE. I apologize for the voluminous amount of material, but this election will prove to be an eye-opening experience one way or the other. You will need to voice your opinion for those who come after you!

FORMER PRESIDENT DONALD J. TRUMP

"Kamala is responsible for millions of illegal immigrants pouring into the U.S. and we are going to send her back to California with a one way ticket" — Donald J. Trump

Story by: Beverly N. Brown | August 28, 2024

Donald Trump was the 45th President o he United States, serving from January 20, 2017, to January 20, 2021. Before entering politics, he was a businessman and television personality, Trump’s residency was marked by controversy and polarization, with supporters lauding his efforts to combat illegal immigration, boost the economy, and address domestic issues such as food prices and violence. However, critics argued that his policies were divisive and detrimental to the country’s social fabric.

During his time in office, one of Trump’s key priorities was securing the border with Mexico. He advocated for stricter immigration policies, including the construction of a border wall to stem the flow of illegal immigrants into the country. Trump believed that controlling immigration was essential to national security and the protection of American Jobs.

In terms of the economy, Trump implemented tax cuts and deregulation of policies aimed at stimulating economic growth. He sought to boost American manufacturing and bring back jobs that had been outsourced overseas. His administration renegotiated trade deals and imposed tariffs on foreign goods to protect domestic industries.

The issue of food prices was also a concern for Trump, who took steps to lower them for American consumers. He supported agricultural policies that promoted domestic production and reduced reliance on imported food products. Additionally, Trump implemented measures to support farmers and address food insecurity in vulnerable communities.

Domestic violence was another area of focus for the Trump administration which sought to tackle crime and improve public safety. Trump supported law enforcement agencies and advocated for tougher penalties for offenders, He also promoted initiatives to prevent violence and support victims of abuse.

Regarding Kamala Harris, Trump has been critical of the Vice President and her political ambitions. He has voiced his opposition to Harris running for president — citing her liberal policies and lack of experience as reasons why she would be bad for the country. Trump has characterized Harris as a radical leftist who would pursue extreme measures if given the opportunity to lead.

In conclusion, Donald Trump’s residency was marked by decisive action on a range of issues, including border security, the economy, food prices, and domestic violence. While his supporters praised his efforts to address these challenges, critics argued that his policies were harmful and divisive.

Trump’s views on Kamala Harris reflect his broader concerns about the direction of the country and the impact of liberal leadership. As the political landscape continues to evolve, it remains to be seen how Trump’s legacy will shape future developments in American politics

I Faced tremendous challenges, but every obstacle only fueled my determination. I fought hard, every step of the way, and and emerged stronger. Remember, in the face of adversity, never back down. Fight, fight, fight all the way toward victory." — Donald J. Trump, your next president!

GERRYMANDERING

The term “gerrymander” is the political elites system for stealing the black and ethnic minorities right to VOTE. They do this by manipulating the geographical boundaries of an electoral constituency in order to favor one party or class. In other words, if it is felt a black city or district will not VOTE in favor of their candidate(s) or party affiliation, the powers to be will redraw the political geographic map to favor of their choice in an election.

REMEMBERING MALCOLM X

I encourage all individuals and especially African Americans/Blacks to read about your past to determine where you stand today and into the future for yourself and your children. The past history of the challenges African Americans/Blacks encountered at the hands of the Jim Crow Movement and other white separatist who worked hard to prevent Blacks from VOTING will open your eyes. You will hear about the harrowing gut wrenching truths about the deceptions, distortion, corruption, lies, and murders embodied in the American government and some of its bigoted politicians who are continuing to ruin this country for personal gains at the expense of the meek.

Nothing is new under the sun and that goes for the political demagoguery, deception, chicanery, lies, and the empty promises by some of those who seek the highest office in the land — President of the United States of America. Thoroughly research each of the candidates by delving into their respective past and make an educated decision, absent the flash, or any other exterior makeup on the candidate and VOTE your conscience.

REMEMBERING MALCOLM X

In a speech made by Malcolm X in Cleveland, Ohio, on April 3, 1964. Malcolm gave one of his best speeches entitled, “The Ballet or the Bullet.” What Malcolm articulating in his speech, impart, was the importance of the VOTE for Blacks. To capsulate his message at the time was, “Liberty or death.” Malcolm discusses the power of the African American/Black VOTE, and its ability to alter the destination of African Americans/Blacks citizens in this country for the better. Additionally, he talks about how the United States government/politicians manipulated and conspired against privileges and due rights for people of color by helping to strip away their constitutional right to VOTE. The John Lewis Voting Rights Act

A Trailblazer in the Civil Rights Movement, John R. Lewis Refused to Give Up Fighting for Freedom of the Disenfranchised People in America...

By Bruce T. Osborne, Sr. |  May 27, 2024

The iconic John Lewis grew-up in the racist “Jim Crow” South, and as a young Black male he saw a lot of awful things growing-up. However, John did not sit on the sidelines watching others fight his battles. No… Not John, he emersed himself in the middle of the controversy by standing up for injustice perpetrated on people who looked like him by racist white police officers, politicians, and fellow citizens and neighbors. John began to participate and organize freedom marches. The marches were formed to stand up and expose systemic racism emanating from the Jim Crow South which was a movement in it self to prevent Blacks Americans’ from VOTING among many other nefarious, violent and egregious ploys. A system which is still performed today in a more covert way like the act(s) of gerrymandering.

John fought valiantly with passion, style, and diplomacy. Yet, he did so with the complete dedication to the struggle at hand pointedly toward finding a positive resolution for Blacks, disenfranchised, and oppressed people. It turned out, unbeknownst to him, that his fight would be a lifetime journey. One that carried him to the halls of Congress, Washington, DC.

John Lewis, a small framed young man had the “Heart, and courage of a Lion.” As the chairman of the “Student Nonviolent Coordinating Committee (SNCC), formed at Shaw University, Raleigh, North Carolina in April of 1960 to protest segregation by organizing peaceful protest and sit-ins at restaurants, etc. On Sunday, March 7, 1965 (along with Reverend Hosea Williams of the Southern Christian Leadership Conference (SCLC), John Lewis along with Rev. Williams led a group of protesters on a 50 mile “peaceful” march from Selma to Montgomery, Alabama. The protestors were marching because of the ongoing suppression of the “Black Votes.

Inspiring the march from Selma to Montgomery, was the death of Jimmy Lee Jackson who was beaten and shot twice in the abdomen by an Alabama state trooper (James Bonard Fowler). Jimmy tried to protect his mother from being beaten to death on February 18, 1965. Jimmy, had been unarmed and was participating in a nonviolent peaceful voting rights march. Jimmy Lee Jackson died eight days later.

Upon arriving at the “Edmund Pettus Bridge”, there were a blockade of local Alabama law enforcement officers. The peaceful protest immediately turned violent. Without warning, fist and police batons began to swing in the air striking anyone near while they launched tear gas into the crowd of nonviolent marchers comprised of older men, women and children without provocation from the peaceful protestors. America was appalled and horrified by the violence and outrageous behavior perpetrated by Alabama’s law enforcement officials who were sworn to uphold the law and protect the people (all the people).

Amelia Boynton Robinson, a peaceful protestor was beaten unconscious for no other reason but for her being black and desiring a change from the treatment of people who looked like her. [John Lewis was “beaten within an inch of his life.] He suffered a skull fracture from a law enforcement officer. John articulated later, that he had thought his life was over during that day of hell. Thanks to [God] for allowing this warrior forcivil rights justice” to have survived the violent encounter, and returned to battle for the disenfranchised people in America. That harrowing day, we all know now as Bloody Sunday. It’s a day — “Sunday” — most people knew to be a day of peace and rest.

BLACK WOMEN POWER

Three African American women at a polling place, one looking at a book of registered voters on November 5, 1957, in New York City or Newark, New Jersey.

African American/Black women have always understood the importance in the power of the “VOTE” for family and community. Many people in the past placed their lives on the line for [you] to have the right to VOTE in America. One of the reason why (some) racist whites did not want people of color to “VOTE” is due to the potentiality behind selecting a candidate who will work on your behalf as well as those in your community leading to a better life. It is also why those individuals constantly work to divide people of color, because they know a unified body of people is difficult to break and dangerous to white supremacy. In other words, [some] whites in the past and still today debunk the idea of fairness as it applies to equity and equality for Blacks/African Americans, and ethnic minorities in America. They believe It’s always better to deal with one or two individuals than attempt to covert an entire unified body of thought provoking citizens. Talk to your community leaders, pastors, and any trusted individuals and discuss the issues at stake pertaining to your needs and that of your community and VOTE like your life depends on it — and trust me it will!

Passed House (08/24/2021)

John R. Lewis Voting Rights Advancement Act of 2021

This bill establishes new criteria for determining which states and political subdivisions must obtain preclearance before changes to voting practices may take effect. Preclearance is the process of receiving preapproval from the Department of Justice (DOJ) or the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia before making legal changes that would affect voting rights.

A state and all of its political subdivisions shall be subject to preclearance of voting practice changes for a 10-year period if

  • 15 or more voting rights violations occurred in the state during the previous 25 years;
  • 10 or more violations occurred during the previous 25 years, at least 1 of which was committed by the state itself; or
  • 3 or more violations occurred during the previous 25 years and the state administers the elections.

A political subdivision as a separate unit shall also be subject to preclearance for a 10-year period if three or more voting rights violations occurred there during the previous 25 years.

States and political subdivisions that meet certain thresholds regarding minority groups must preclear covered practices before implementation, such as changes to methods of election and redistricting.

Further, states and political subdivisions must notify the public of changes to voting practices.

Next, the bill authorizes DOJ to require states or political subdivisions to provide certain documents or answers to questions for enforcing voting rights.

The bill also outlines factors courts must consider when hearing challenges to voting practices, such as the extent of any history of official voting discrimination in the state or political subdivision.
